Baseball Recap: Woodland Beavers vs. Columbia River Rapids
Woodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 8-5 to the Columbia River Rapids. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rapids this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 on Monday.
Woodland's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Columbia River, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3.
We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Woodland is set to take on their familiar foe Washougal at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Columbia River will face off against rival Mark Morris at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
