Soccer Recap: Laney Starts Season with Win on the Road

Laney had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They never let the Rolesville Rams get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Saturday. Conner Wall had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Laney.

Rolesville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Laney will challenge Pinecrest at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Rolesville, they will take on Felton Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
