Volleyball Recap: Purcell Marian Takes a Loss

Purcell Marian lost against Miami Valley Christian Academy back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cavaliers came up short against the Lions, falling 3-0.

Leading Miami Valley Christian Academy to victory were Kate Conn and Maycee Richardson. Conn had 21 assists and six aces, while Richardson had three digs and three aces. That's the most aces Richardson has posted since back in August. Reagan Meyer also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Purcell Marian's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Miami Valley Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Purcell Marian will face off against Middletown at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Miami Valley Christian Academy, they will challenge Seven Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
