Christian Academy is 8-2 against Charlestown since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Warriors will take on the Pirates at 7:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Christian Academy came up short against Eastern on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Musketeers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

While Christian Academy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Charlestown lost 3-0 to Bedford North Lawrence on Thursday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 25-11.

Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 21-9. As for Charlestown, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-16.

Christian Academy beat Charlestown 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
