Basketball Recap: Cooper Comes Up Short

Cooper was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-43 heartbreaker at the hands of The Awty International Rams. The Dragons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Cooper's defeat dropped their record down to 6-20. As for The Awty International, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 16-6.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Lake Houston HomeSchool the next time they take the court. The Awty International will head out to face Lake Houston HomeSchool at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, while Cooper will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
