Baseball Recap: Brooke Point Comes Up Short

Brooke Point lost against North Stafford on April 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Black Hawks fell 9-5 to the Wolverines.

Brayden Chitwood was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI. That RBI was his first of the season.

Brooke Point's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for North Stafford, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8-1.

Coming up, Brooke Point will square off against Stafford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Stafford, they will face off against Patriot at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pioneers' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Wolverines' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
