Soccer Game Preview: Centennial vs. Metro Tech

The Centennial Coyotes will challenge the Metro Tech Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Centennial is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Verrado on Wednesday. Centennial fell just short of Verrado by a score of 1-0. The Coyotes haven't had much luck with the Vipers recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Metro Tech came up short against Ironwood back in December of 2024 and fell 3-1. That's two games in a row now that the Knights have lost by exactly two goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Metro Tech and nudges their season record down to 2-2-1. As for Centennial, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
