Basketball Recap: Coffeeville Takes a Loss

Coffeeville lost against Charleston back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Coffeeville Pirates were outmatched by the Charleston Tigers and fell 58-20. The defeat leaves the Pirates without a win on the season.

Coffeeville's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Charleston, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coffeeville will take on Water Valley in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Coffeeville is facing Water Valley at the right time seeing as Water Valley is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. Charleston and Riverside will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
