The Crestview Bulldogs are taking a road trip to take on the West Florida Jaguars at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Crestview is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, Crestview came up short against Jay and fell 10-5. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Royals recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Anna Parker was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Copeland, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, West Florida fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Gulf Breeze on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They came up short against the Dolphins, falling 15-9.

West Florida's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Crestview, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
