Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian School of Griffin Starts off Right with Win over Skipstone Academy

Trinity Christian School of Griffin took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They strolled past the Skipstone Academy Warriors with points to spare, taking the game 67-50. The LIONS haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Trinity Christian School of Griffin found their leader in sophomore Travone Appling, who dropped a double-double with 29 points and 18 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Griffin Norwood, who posted 15 points and three steals.
