A Season-Best Effort from Tj White Leads Jackson Academy over Jackson Prep

On Friday, Jackson Academy had to settle for second even though Tj White put up the best numbers he has all season. White wasn't messing around, picking up 2.5 sacks, forcing a fumble, and making ten total tackles (4.0 for loss). The game was his ninth straight with five or more total tackles.

This year, White has averaged 7.8 total tackles per game and for the season has 11 sacks. He is looking even better than he did last year: after 13 games last season, he had one sack.

Jackson Prep's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0. Oswalt and Jackson Prep will challenge Hartfield Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
