Recap: Central Christian Crusaders vs. Community Christian Knights
The Central Christian Crusaders scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took down Community Christian 68-53. The victory was just what Central Christian needed coming off of a 49-29 loss in their prior matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Central Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Riley Clark, who scored 25 points along with five rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Clark has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bayleigh Seymour, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Central Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Community Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Creekside Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. Creekside Christian Academy is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 60 points per game. As for Community Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against Rock Springs Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
