Volleyball Game Preview: El Paso-Gridley Titans vs. Tri-Valley Vikings

El Paso-Gridley hasn't had much luck against Tri-Valley recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Titans will head out to take on the Vikings at 7:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, El Paso-Gridley came up short against Eureka and fell 2-0.

El Paso-Gridley may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 18 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Tri-Valley entered their tilt with Flanagan-Cornell on Wednesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Falcons.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17.

El Paso-Gridley's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Tri-Valley, their win bumped their record up to 13-4.

El Paso-Gridley was able to grind out a solid victory over Tri-Valley in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
