Maple Grove had already won 15 in a row and they went ahead and made it 16 on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Centennial Cougars by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-17, 20-25, 25-21, 25-23.

Maple Grove was led to victory by Mckinley Hardle and Amanda Swiers. Hardle had 18 digs and six assists, while Swiers had 19 assists and four digs. Swiers is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 11 games she's played.

Maple Grove's record is now 20-3. As for Centennial, they moved to 15-8 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Looking ahead, Maple Grove will welcome Southwest Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Centennial, they will be taking part in a tournament against Lewiston-Altura at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
