Football Recap: Chloe Holguin's Menacing Defense Leads University City over Morse

University City extended their road winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Kianna Lefear. The Centurions came out on top against the Morse Tigers by a score of 20-7 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Lefear, who threw for 217 yards and three TDs. She also deserves a shoutout for her performance on D, making eight total tackles and defending one pass.

University City didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Chloe Holguin, Hayden Goldstein, and Courtlyn Mitchell picked up one apiece.

University City's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Morse, they now have a losing record of 4-5-1.

Coming up, University City will venture away from home to challenge West Hills at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Morse, they will host Point Loma at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
