Softball Recap: Clarence Gets the Win

The Clarence Red Devils narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Shaker Bison 8-6.

Clarence now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Shaker, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Coming up, Clarence will challenge West Seneca West at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Indians have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.6 runs per game on average), something the Red Devils will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Shaker, they will face off against Frontier at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Bison surely won't give up without a fight.
