Baseball Recap: Jimtown Extends Winning Streak to Three

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Jimtown walked away with it. They never let the Knox Redskins get on the board and left with a 7-0 win on Saturday. Considering the Jimmies have won ten contests by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Broderic Kaler was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Connor Christman, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.

The victory was the third in a row for Jimtown, bringing their record up to 21-7. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Knox, their loss dropped their record down to 13-12.

Looking ahead, Jimtown will take on Bremen at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Lions will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Jimmies surely won't give up without a fight. Knox does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
