Basketball Recap: East Chambers Comes Up Short

East Chambers lost against Orangefield on January 3rd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The East Chambers Buccaneers had to suffer through a 56-25 loss at the hands of the Orangefield Bobcats. The matchup marked the Buccaneers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

East Chambers' loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-12. As for Orangefield, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

East Chambers will take on Hardin at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Orangefield, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Orangefield Bobcats face off against the Buna Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Orangefield has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 190 points over their last three matches.
