For the first time this season, Thunder Ridge will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing at home against the Canyon Ridge Riverhawks at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Canyon Ridge took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Thunder Ridge, who comes in off a win.
Thunder Ridge is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Century with a sharp 12-2 win on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.
Ryan Harris made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.

In other pitching news, Michael Hughes looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Thunder Ridge is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 0-4 otherwise.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Easton Carling, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. Another player making a difference was Abe Hall, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Thunder Ridge kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
Meanwhile, Canyon Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-5 heartbreaker at the hands of Mountain Home. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Riverhawks have suffered since April 11, 2024.
Canyon Ridge saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andre Mora, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Canyon Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Thunder Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 2-5.
