McDowell triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Rylan Parkins

Recap: McDowell Titans vs. Patton Panthers
Even though the Patton Panthers scored an imposing 58 points on Friday, the McDowell Titans still came out on top. McDowell took their contest against Patton 66-58. The victory made it back-to-back wins for McDowell.
Rylan Parkins was his usual excellent self, scoring 24 points. The contest was his sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Elliott, who scored 15 points.
McDowell's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Patton, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-2.
McDowell and T.C. Roberson will face off at 8:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. T.C. Roberson is on a three-game streak of home wins, McDowell a five-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Patton and Brevard will face off at 8:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. One thing working in Brevard's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five games.
