Charleston won the last time they faced Lavaca and things went their way on Friday too. The Tigers claimed a resounding 42-0 victory over the Golden Arrows. Considering the Tigers have won six matchups by more than 31 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Charleston got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Carter Little out in front who threw for 215 yards and three touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes. Garred Smithson helped Little out on the ground, rushing for 54 yards and one score, while also catching one TD.

Charleston pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.9 points on average this season. As for Lavaca, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Charleston will take on Cedarville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Pirates' rather soft defense (which has allowed 39.14 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Lavaca, they will square off against Hackett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
