            Baseball Recap: Bensalem Fighting Owls vs. Council Rock North Indians        
        
		
        
        
            Bensalem extended their losing streak  to four  on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 11-7 in the process. They fell  4-1 to the Council Rock North Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  5-4  on Monday.
 Bensalem saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Lukas Wilson, who  went 1-for-3 with one  stolen base.
As for Council Rock North, the  win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-7. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games.
 On Council Rock North's side,  Preston Martin made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out six over 6.2 innings pitched. Martin has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs and one  double.
While Bensalem had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
