Volleyball Recap: Larkin Takes a Loss

Larkin extended their losing streak to five on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 6-12 in the process. They fell 2-0 to the Grayslake Central Rams. The Royals were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rams from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

As for Grayslake Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. The victory was nothing new for Grayslake Central as they're now sitting on five straight.

Among those leading the charge was Evan Page, who had nine digs and two assists. Eliel Rezendiz also deserves some recognition as he had his first kills of the season.

Larkin has already played their next game (against Zion-Benton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Grayslake Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Mundelein on the 26th.
