Volleyball Recap: Hamilton County Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hamilton County can now relate to. They fell 2-0 to the Newton Eagles on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Foxes in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

While Hamilton County was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by exactly two points. The final score came out to 30-28, 25-23.

Hamilton County's loss dropped their record down to 17-19. As for Newton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-15.

Hamilton County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Newton, they will face off against Carmi-White County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
