Softball Recap: Milaca Wolves vs. Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars
Milaca was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars.
Izzy Roehl made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Maddie Gothman, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.
Milaca's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hinckley-Finlayson, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
Looking ahead, Milaca will be playing in front of their home fans against Little Falls at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Wolves their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Hinckley-Finlayson, they will head out to face off against Ogilvie at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
