Basketball Recap: Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas Comes Up Short

After flying high against Cristo Rey St. Viator last Friday, Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas came back down to earth. The Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas Falcons took a blow against the Sports Leadership & Management Bulls on Wednesday, falling 62-22. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-40 back in January.

Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Sports Leadership & Management, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 15-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas Falcons face off against the Boulder City Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sports Leadership & Management, they will head out to challenge Pahrump Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Sports Leadership & Management knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Pahrump Valley likes a good challenge.
