Softball Recap: McAllen Memorial Comes Up Short

McAllen Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They came up short against the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North Raiders, falling 10-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 back in March.

McAllen Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, McAllen Memorial and Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North will both be playing McAllen the next time they take the field. The Raiders will host the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Mustangs will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
