Round Valley extended their winning streak to eight on Friday, bumping their season record up to 17-6 in the process. They blew past the St. Johns Redskins 22-9. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Kelci Walker was incredible, firing off two home runs, eight RBI, and five runs while going 5-for-5. Those eight RBI gave her a new career-high. Skyler Hevener was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one double.

As for St. Johns, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-6. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

On St. Johns' side, Kaylee Pulsipher was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Bellamia Nelson, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Round Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Johns, they will head out to face off against Greyhills Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
