Wall had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They won by a run and slipped past the Tolar Rattlers 5-4. The victory was familiar territory for the Hawks, who have now won six contests in a row.

Wall got a great performance from Gage Reichenau as he struck out six batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts Reichenau has posted since back in March.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Reid Ballard, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Jacob Braden was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs.

Wall's win bumped their record up to 27-9. As for Tolar, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-8.

Wall will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Rattlers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
