Recap: El Capitan/Centennial Academy vs. Williams Vikings
El Capitan/Centennial Academy waltzed into their matchup on Friday with ten straight wins but they left with 11. They blew past Williams 75-45 at home. El Capitan/Centennial Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 22 points or more this season.
Ethan Hammon was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with seven rebounds and four blocks. Another player making a difference was Shez Barlow, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds.
Despite the loss, Williams still got an impressive performance from Brody Trimble, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and two blocks. Trimble is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Nickoli Cody was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
El Capitan/Centennial Academy pushed their record up to 18-4 with that win, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.2 points per game. As for Williams, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-9.

Hopefully Ash Fork focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday.
