Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Central Valley challenged Newman Grove/St. Edward on Thursday. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers. The Cougars not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 23rd (when they won 3-0).

Archangels Catholic's win bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Central Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 21-5.
