Volleyball Recap: Bishop Miege Takes a Loss

Bishop Miege lost against Bentonville back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Stags fell 2-0 to the Tigers. The Stags have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Maryn Dean paced Bishop Miege's offense, picking up six kills. Dean really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with eight.

Bentonville had a senior duo take command as Ady Bollinger had 12 digs and six assists and Lizzie Dorey had ten assists and eight digs. Bollinger has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last seven times she's played.

Bishop Miege's loss dropped their record down to 5-25-2. As for Bentonville, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-2.

Bishop Miege does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bentonville, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Park Hill on the 18th.
