 Edgar can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game  on Monday. They never let the Prentice Buccaneers onto the board and left with  a   13-0  victory. Edgar's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 Edgar got a  massive  performance out of  Emery Borchardt, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Taylor Lemmer, who  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
 Edgar's win  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 1-5. As for Prentice, their defeat was  their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 0-8.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edgar will take on Newman at 4:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. Newman and Edgar are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads. As for Prentice, they will play host again  on Tuesday to welcome Chequamegon, where first pitch is scheduled  at 4:45  p.m.
