Volleyball Recap: Hooks Finds Home Court Redemption Against Bonham

There's no place like home for Hooks, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Bonham Warriors 2-1. While the Hornets didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-27), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Hooks got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 22-25, 25-22.

Hooks pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Bonham, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Hooks will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Chapel Hill at 6:30 p.m. As for Bonham, they will take on Whitewright at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
