Basketball Recap: Weslaco East Wildcats vs. Mission Eagles
Weslaco East lost against Mission back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats took a 33-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

Despite the defeat, Weslaco East had strong showings from Angel Nwanne, who posted eight points along with seven rebounds and three steals, and Elaine Hernandez, who put up seven points. Weslaco East's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Mission, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.
Looking ahead, Weslaco East will square off against Edinburg North at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mission, they will take on La Feria at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
