Basketball Recap: Pontiac Find Success

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Pontiac ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They walked away with a 54-45 win over the Peoria Notre Dame Irish. The Indians didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Pontiac picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-6. As for Peoria Notre Dame, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Pontiac will take on LaSalle-Peru in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. LaSalle-Peru will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Pontiac surely won't give up without a fight. As for Peoria Notre Dame, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Sacred Heart-Griffin at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
