University had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Wednesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

The win didn't come easy: Buckhannon-Upshur scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20.

University's offense was headlined by Hope Pell and Maggie Panson, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Alexis Oravec and her ten assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

University's victory bumped their record up to 19-5-2. As for Buckhannon-Upshur, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-7-1.

University didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Oak Hill on the 24th. As for Buckhannon-Upshur, they are taking a road trip to take on Robert C. Byrd at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
