Basketball Recap: Handley Comes Up Short

Handley was the 43-41 winner over Opelika when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Handley Tigers fell 54-45 to the Opelika Bulldogs on Monday.

Handley's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Opelika, the win snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 6-17 record.

Handley won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Opelika does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
