Volleyball Recap: Wilcox Takes a Loss

Wilcox managed to slip by Mountain View the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Chargers lost 3-0 to the Spartans on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Chargers have suffered since May 3, 2024.

While Wilcox had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 25-19.

Wilcox's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Mountain View, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Wilcox didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Los Altos on the 23rd. As for Mountain View, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Saratoga on the 23rd.
