Soccer Game Preview: St. Joseph Academy vs. Calvin Christian

The St. Joseph Academy Crusaders will take on the Calvin Christian Crusaders at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Joseph Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.9 goals per game this season.

Last Friday, St. Joseph Academy made easy work of Army-Navy and carried off a 5-1 victory.

St. Joseph Academy hit Army-Navy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Conall McMahon (2), Jonas Allen, Jorge Corrales, and James Drexler.

Meanwhile, Calvin Christian earned a 3-1 win over Coastal Academy on Thursday.

Calvin Christian used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Coastal Academy. Caleb Postma played for 80 minutes having averaged 51.8 this season and Zach Gordon got 80 vs. an average of 42.9. Postma made the most of the opportunity, scoring two goals and one steal A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

St. Joseph Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-2-3. As for Calvin Christian, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-6-5.
