Volleyball Recap: Normandy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Horizon Science Academy on Wednesday, Normandy came back down to earth. The Invaders came up short against the Avon Lake Shoremen on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Normandy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-17, 25-23.

Normandy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Avon Lake, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-12.

Normandy has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Brecksville-Broadview Heights on the 2nd. As for Avon Lake, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Steele on the 5th.
