Soccer Recap: American Leadership Academy Comes Up Short

American Leadership Academy's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Greenwood Christian Hawks by a score of 2-1. American Leadership Academy just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Evan Steffee, who's now up to seven this season.

American Leadership Academy now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Greenwood Christian, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. American Leadership Academy will head out to face off against Batesburg-Leesville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. American Leadership Academy are facing Batesburg-Leesville at the right time seeing as Batesburg-Leesville are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Greenwood Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Dixie at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
