After a string of nine wins, Corning's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They came up short against the Riverside Rebels, falling 13-1. The match marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Corning's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 10-3. As for Riverside, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 18-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Corning will venture away from home to challenge Marmaduke at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bobcats are facing the Greyhounds at the right time seeing as the Greyhounds are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Riverside, they are taking a road trip to face off against Cedar Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
