Softball Recap: Monroe Comes Up Short

Monroe lost against Big Foot back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cheesemakers fell just short of the Chiefs by a score of 2-1. The Cheesemakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Big Foot, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.

Monroe and Big Foot should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. The Cheesemakers (ranked 61st) will meet Delavan-Darien (ranked 332nd) at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Big Foot will take on Edgerton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (146 vs. 319).
