After flying high against Astoria/VIT last Friday, Rushville-Industry came back down to earth. The Rockets lost 35-14 to the Annawan-Wethersfield Titans on Friday. The Rockets' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Although Rushville-Industry took the loss, they still got scores from Brody Brush and Rylan Reimolds.

Rushville-Industry's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-2. As for Annawan-Wethersfield, their victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Looking ahead, Rushville-Industry will face off against Monmouth United at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rockets will be up against the Red Storm's rather soft defense (which has allowed 45.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Annawan-Wethersfield, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Stark County at 7:00 p.m. The Titans will need to watch out since the Rebels have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.
