Basketball Recap: Natoma Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Natoma came into Friday's matchup having lost 15 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Chase Kats by a score of 29-20 on Friday. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Natoma found their leader in sophomore Colton Prowse, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 14 boards.

Natoma smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in January.

Natoma's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Chase, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Natoma will host Thunder Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chase, they will be playing at home against Central Plains on Tuesday.
