Basketball Recap: Wall Skates Past Chamberlain with Ease

Wall waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Chamberlain Cubs, posting a 64-31 victory. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cubs, too.

Leading Wall to victory were Teelan Kjerstad and Emmet Dinger. Kjerstad shot 53% from the field en route to 22 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals, while Dinger went 8-for-13 on his way to 21 points. With that strong performance, Dinger is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Dawson Handcock was another key player, putting up eight points and six boards.

Wall's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Chamberlain, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

Looking ahead, Wall is taking a road trip to square off against New Underwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chamberlain, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 53-42 victory against Bon Homme on the 17th.
