Volleyball Recap: Maranatha Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Maranatha extended their losing streak to nine on Tuesday, dropping them down to 6-15. They lost 3-0 to the Village Christian Crusaders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

As for Village Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-16. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 24th (when they won 3-0).

Village Christian was led to victory by Talia Mardrussian and Izzy Aragon. Mardrussian had seven digs and four aces, while Aragon had ten digs and two assists. That's the most aces Mardrussian has posted over her last eight matches.

Coincidentally, Maranatha and Village Christian will both be playing Whittier Christian the next time they take the court. The Minutemen will host the Heralds at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, while the Crusaders will host them at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
