It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Trinity Catholic had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They blew past the Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Celtics sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Trinity Catholic took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-13, 25-10.
Trinity Catholic can attribute much of their success to Isabella Rodriguez, who had nine digs and two aces. Annie O'Farrell also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.
