Basketball Recap: Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech Comes Up Short

Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 36th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 79-26 loss at the hands of the Franklin Broncos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-11 back in January.

Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Franklin, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-11 record this season.

Looking ahead, Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech will look to defend their home court on Monday against Southampton at 7:30 p.m. As for Franklin, they will venture away from home to face off against Sussex Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
